At Mfoodie2Go, we aim to provide convenient, reliable, and flexible delivery and collection options for all our customers.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed through the Mfoodie2Go platform, website, and mobile application.
1. Order Processing
All orders are processed once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
Customers will receive an order confirmation message or email containing their order details, payment confirmation, and estimated preparation or delivery time.
Orders are typically prepared and made ready for collection or dispatch as soon as possible during the merchant’s operating hours.
Processing times may vary depending on:
- merchant preparation time
- order volume
- stock availability
- time of day
- special promotions or peak demand periods
2. Collection Option – Pay Now & Collect Later (Free)
Customers may choose our Pay Now & Collect Later option at no additional cost.
Terms
- this option is free of charge
- orders must be collected within 24 hours from the time the order is placed
- customers must present their order confirmation and proof of payment upon collection
- orders not collected within 24 hours may be cancelled, refunded subject to applicable deductions, or otherwise handled in line with our Refund Policy
Customers are encouraged to collect orders within the stated timeframe to maintain freshness, quality, and product integrity.
For prepared meals, groceries, and perishable items, failure to collect within the collection window may affect refund eligibility.
3. Delivery Option – Third-Party Courier (Droppa)
Customers may choose delivery through our approved third-party courier partner.
Delivery is subject to an additional delivery fee.
Delivery Charges
Delivery fees are charged separately and are based on:
- delivery distance
- delivery location
- package size (where applicable)
- real-time courier rates
- delivery speed selected
The applicable delivery fee will be displayed and communicated before order confirmation and payment.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on:
- traffic conditions
- weather conditions
- driver availability
- delivery zone
- merchant preparation time
- courier collection time
While we aim to ensure timely delivery, delays caused by third-party courier services, external conditions, or merchant preparation times may occasionally occur.
Estimated times are provided as guidelines only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery times.
5. Delivery Areas
Delivery services are available only in selected service areas covered by our delivery partners.
Customers are encouraged to confirm whether their address falls within an active delivery zone before placing an order.
Orders outside supported areas may only be available for collection.
6. Failed Delivery or Incorrect Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including:
- full delivery address
- correct contact number
- delivery instructions
- access codes or gate information where necessary
Mfoodie2Go will not be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading delivery information.
Where re-delivery is requested, additional delivery fees may apply.
7. Failed Customer Contact
If the delivery partner is unable to contact the customer at the provided number, or the customer is unavailable at the delivery location, the order may be marked as a failed delivery.
In such cases:
- re-delivery may attract additional charges
- perishable items may not be refundable
- refunds may be subject to our Refund Policy
8. Transfer of Responsibility
Responsibility for the order transfers:
- to the customer upon successful collection, or
- upon confirmed handover by the delivery partner at the delivery address
Customers are advised to inspect their order immediately upon receipt and report any issues within a reasonable time.
9. Delivery Issues
If an order is:
- missing
- damaged
- incomplete
- materially different from what was ordered
- excessively delayed
customers should contact support as soon as possible.
These issues will be handled in accordance with our Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy.
